Effective October 17, 2026
Welcome
By joining Heart of the Hills Quilters, you agree to these member terms. They explain how dues work, what other members can see about you, and how we ask everyone to treat member information. They are short on purpose, and the guild may update them from time to time.
Membership and dues
- Membership runs for the calendar year, January 1 through December 31.
- Dues are $25 by cash or check, or $26.28 online (the extra covers card processing fees).
- Renewals are accepted through March 31. After that, your membership lapses until dues are paid.
- Dues are not refundable, including if you leave the guild partway through the year.
- A cash or check membership becomes active once the treasurer confirms your payment.
The member directory
The website has a members-only directory so members can reach each other. Only logged-in members can see it; the public cannot. It lists:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your birthday (month and day only, no year)
- The year you joined the guild
Members who reach 20 years are also honored by name and join year in the Gold Star section of the same page.
If you would rather not have your phone number or birthday listed, contact the website administrator and we will leave it off.
Keeping member information in the guild
The directory is for guild business and friendship among members. Please:
- Do not share, copy, print or forward the member list to anyone outside the guild.
- Do not use members’ contact information for selling, advertising, fundraising for other groups, or political or religious messages.
- Do not add members to outside email lists or group chats without their permission.
The guild may remove website access for anyone who misuses member information.
Your website account
- Keep one account and use it every year; please don’t create a second one to renew.
- Keep your password private. Use “Lost your password?” on the login page if you forget it.
- Keep your email and phone number current so the guild can reach you. You can update them from My Account, or ask the website administrator.
- Accounts are not deleted because dues are late. If your membership lapses, your account stays and you can renew.
Changes and questions
The guild may update these terms. If anything important changes, we will let members know at a guild meeting or by email.
How we collect, use and protect your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
